Vintage 80s Prisoner Shirt - Jail Uniform - 2XL

This is an 80s/90s prisoner uniform.
This is not a costume, but an actual item used by prisoners in a prison. Japanese-made items have precisely aligned stripes on pockets, etc., and are sewn neatly, but real prisoner uniforms don't need that, so the stripes are always misaligned or slanted. It's just workwear for doing work, so the stitching is triple-stitched for durability. To prevent prisoners from hiding dangerous items, the jacket has one small pocket, and the pants don't even have pockets. The patterns are slanted, and there are no pockets, but I think that's the attractive detail of vintage prisoner uniforms. The country of manufacture is either the Dominican Republic or the United States. Some items don't have a tag, but it's definitely one of those two. Regular prisoner uniforms are usually completely disposed of after their use period, so they rarely appear on the market. Therefore, they often have a high price tag when they appear in vintage clothing stores. The jacket can be worn on its own, or layered with a hoodie.
